Hello guys! My name Ben Harkins. I live in Gainesville, GA, which happens to be where AIM is located. I just turned 15 years old on December 31, but most people think I'm 16 or 17. I am a sophomore and am homeschooled(not stereo-typical whatsoever). I can be shy but am normally pretty outgoing.
I love music. I am in the youth band at two different churches. I play acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, keyboard, and violin. I like most all kinds of music except for opera and I HATE country. My favorite genres are Metal and Alternative. I enjoy most all sports. I am currently playing basketball for a Christian school I live close to. I do karate on and off. I don't normally find enjoyment in video games unless playing with a lot of friends. Friend me on Facebook.
I am relatively new to my faith. I grew up in church my whole life. I know most anything you want to know about theology and such, but living my faith is another story. I 'got saved' when I was 5 but I was definitely fooling myself. I followed a shallow version of the Christian faith, which couldn't be true. I was searching for what I really believed and finally truly understood the Christian faith. I'm now sold out to Christ and want to spread his glory to the rest of the world. I feel called to international missions and feel this trip will help me move towards that.
